The Problem
Extensive ranching in the Amazon contributes to deforestation and biodiversity loss. It's crucial to adopt the 'Ranching, but not like this' initiative to protect our environment.
Extensive ranching is one of the main drivers of massive deforestation in the Amazon, causing a significant loss of biodiversity. Each year, millions of hectares of forest are destroyed to make way for ranching, severely impacting biodiversity and the ecosystem.

We are dedicated to transforming the way cattle ranching is conducted in the Amazon, promoting sustainable practices that benefit both the environment and the farmers/ranchers. Through education and reforestation, we work to restore land and preserve our priceless Amazon rainforest.

Step 1
We help farmers identify the areas where cattle ranching is generating the greatest environmental impact in the Amazon, taking into account air flow algorithms, identification of grazing and forested areas. These areas are prioritized for recovery.
Step 2
Through our platform, we teach cattle rotation techniques on a small portion of land, which improve productivity without the need for further deforestation. Cattle are moved in a planned manner to very small suitable areas in the Amazon.
Step 3
Farmers/indigenous people learn to restore land affected by mismanagement. As the land recovers its fertility, they receive economic incentives for contributing to reforestation and conservation and we change the dynamism of land management, understanding that “planting and caring for the forest pays more than extensive cattle ranching”.
Step 4
Ganadero Inteligente demonstrates that recovering land and planting rainforest is more profitable than continuing with extensive cattle ranching practices. With payments for restoration and planting, farmers/indigenous people find a sustainable and peaceful way to contribute to the recovery and preservation of the Amazon.

Conservation of the Amazon
Promoting the protection of the Amazon by changing the paradigm from extensive cattle ranching to regenerative cattle ranching is key to preserving one of the most important ecosystems on the planet. This strategy is complemented by the gradual clearing of grazing pastures, freeing up land that can be used for reforestation and forest recovery.
Reducing livestock pressure on the forest and promoting the restoration of degraded areas not only mitigates deforestation, but also strengthens carbon sequestration capacity, protecting biodiversity and promoting more socially and economically sustainable economic development.
